Marriage to Harriet Lloyd

On 24 March 1883, at the Parish Church of South Hackney, he married Harriet LLOYD. The registrations details are -

Bride: Harriett LLOYD, minor, spinster, no employment, 10 Morpeth Road, South Hackney, daughter of John LLOYD (deceased), Clerk
Witnessed by Priscilla COOK and Wm COTTON.

Priscilla COOK was probably his sister of that name. William COTTON was probably the William COTTON with whom Harriet's mother was in service. Morpeth Road, South Hackney, London is just NW of Bethnal Green and sometimes considered as part of it. It is 1.9 miles from Stratford.

About 1884 his daughter Maud COOK was born in Stratford, Essex.

In Mar Q 1885 the birth of Florence Emily P[riscilla] COOK was registered in the West Ham district

On 16 Nov 1886 George Abram Josiah Cook was born in Stratford, on 11 Aug 1887 he was baptised at All Saints, West Ham. His parent's names were given as George and Harriet Elizabeth COOK.

On the 1891 Census he is at 3 Jupp Road, Stratford, Essex.. At that time the family comprised
Harriet WAYLETT is described as George COOK's Mother but appears to be his mother in law.

On the 1st July 1896, his daughter Ivy Minnie Elizabeth COOK was born at 3 Jupp Road, Stratford, Essex. The details on the birth certificate are:

Death

On the 1901 Census his wife is still at 3 Jupp Road, Stratford, Essex but she was shown as a widow. Therefore George appears to have died at some point between about 1897 and the 1901 Census.
