Essex, and 3 Km SE of Billericay, Essex.

The KIRBY family In the 19th C the descendants of John Kirby and Judith KENNETT are to be found scattered across South Essex. John
KIRBY (1765-1842) was part of that family, however in a
poor law examination of 1805 he gave his age as 40 and birthplace
as Gt Burstead, Essex. By abt. 1788 he was working
in Downham, Essex.
