She was Christened on 21 Feb 1841 in Exning, Suffolk. Here parents being Philip PARR and his wife Ellen.

On the 1841 Census she is listed at Exning, Suffolk, with no residence given. At which time the family comprised:

In 1859  Emma married Abraham COOK. The accountof their life together can be found in the biography of Abraham COOK.

Life as a widow

Abraham COOK died in 1902 and Emma appears to have outlived him.

Last Will and Testament



Emma was alive at the time of the 1901 Census at which time she had lost a year or two and claimed to be 61 (i.e. born about 1940). Between that time and 1925 I have found the following candidate deaths registered in West Ham registration area.
