George GREGORY appears to be on his own in Box, Wiltshire, as follows:

In the second possible 1841 entry, a George GREGORY appears in

Marriage to Elizabeth Sims (nee ?)
In
the Dec Quarter of 1859 the marriage of both a George GREGORY and an
Elizabeth SIMS are listed under the same reference (Highworth, Vol 5a,
pg 35). The others on that reference were John KAY and Mary PRITCHARD.
The 1851 Census lists an Eliza SIMS, wife of Edm'd SIMS in Hendred,
Berks. She is aged 37 and born in Purton, Wilts. These details confirm
her to be George GREGORY's second wife. In the September Quarter of
1854 the death of an Edmund SIMS was registered at Highworth (Vol 5a,
pg 3).
On the 1861 Census they are listed at Reeds Cottages,
Stratton Green, Stratton St Margaret, nr Swindon, Wiltshire. At that
time the family comprised:
