Possible marriages (the latter seeming the more likely):
On the 1841 Census there appear to be two candidates. In the first a George GREGORY appears to be on his own in Box, Wiltshire, as follows:
Box is about 4 miles NE of Bath and about 20 miles WSW of Swindon

In the second possible 1841 entry, a George GREGORY appears in a group of GREGORYs, listed near adjacent to a BAKER family group and in Black[mor?], Wiltshire, as follows:

Further members of the BAKER family are listed, but with no Ann. However there is an Ann BAKER listed residing with no others of the same surname in Stratton Street, Stratton St. Margaret,Wilts, as follows:
The above details from the 1841 Census rely on transcripts and have, in minor parts, still to be verified against the original census entries.

On the 1851 Census they are listed in Upper Stratton, Stratton St Margaret, nr Swindon, Wiltshire. At that time the family comprised:

Marriage to Elizabeth Sims (nee ?)

In the Dec Quarter of 1859 the marriage of both a George GREGORY and an Elizabeth SIMS are listed under the same reference (Highworth, Vol 5a, pg 35). The others on that reference were John KAY and Mary PRITCHARD. The 1851 Census lists an Eliza SIMS, wife of Edm'd SIMS in Hendred, Berks. She is aged 37 and born in Purton, Wilts. These details confirm her to be George GREGORY's second wife. In the September Quarter of 1854 the death of an Edmund SIMS was registered at Highworth (Vol 5a, pg 3).

On the 1861 Census they are listed at Reeds Cottages, Stratton Green, Stratton St Margaret, nr Swindon, Wiltshire. At that time the family comprised:
On the 1871 Census they are listed at Pigeon House Lane, Lower Stratton, Stratton St Margaret, nr Swindon, Wiltshire. At that time the family comprised:
On the 1881 Census they are listed at Pigeon Row, Swindon Road, Stratton St Margaret, Wiltshire. At that time the family comprised:
Most of th eother occupants of Pigeon Row seem to have come from Stratton St Margaret or to have strong connections with it.
